Mission Appeal:
Constitution Article # 6: Our mission in the Church and in the world - According to our charism, our specific in the Church, like Mary, is to carry a message of reconciliation. We are invited to contemplate Christ the Savior and Reconciler.
This mission takes shapes in communities sent to live among the People of God.
In education (school administration, Religious Education, catechism), health, social action and pastoral work (hospital, alternative medicine, with the handicapped and drug rehabilitation program, hospital ministry, visiting the sick, aged, homebound and prison ministry) shrines (Marian shrines in particular the Shrines of Our Lady of La Salette), and or any other activity, it engages us to liberate, to reconcile, to uplift, to connect, to lead to more dignity and life.
The contemporary contexts are particularly appealing for the living out our charism.
We give priority to the poor and the oppressed, to those who are rejected, excluded, isolated. Whatever our age or state of health, we are all part of this mission of the Congregation.
Responding to the mission and call of Our Lady of La Salette echoing the merciful love of the Father, an invitation to make this message known to all her people, we serve in 11 countries (Algeria, Angola, Brazil, Canada, Italy, France, Madagascar, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Philippines, Poland and the USA).
For this year, the Mission Appeal Fund will go directly to the project of the Generalate for the retirement home of sick and aged Sisters in the Philippines
