The Mission Appeal:
The Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary have served in missions in South America for over 100 years. We currently have missions in Peru. While our academies serve those of means, these schools also support several poor schools, especially in the mountains. The donations received are used to provide breakfast and lunch for these students, clothing and hygiene, materials for education, and transportation to reach these schools. After meeting the physical needs of the students, our Sisters and lay teachers can then focus on sharing our Catholic faith, preparing students as well as adults to know Christ and receive the sacraments, and giving them an education so that they can contribute to society as they also develop a better sense of self worth.
