Mission Appeal:

WHO WE ARE:

Missionhurst-CICM

(Congregatio lmmaculati Cordis Mariae)

Missionhurst-CICM was founded in 1862 by a Belgian priest, Fr. Theophile Verbist, initially for the evangelization of China. Inspired by Father Verbist's example, Missionhurst priests and brothers have been first to proclaim the Good News in places where the Gospel is not preached or lived with a particular emphasis in the care of the poor and the most vulnerable. Today, Missionhurst-CICM missionaries -priests and brothers from North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America-continue this long tradition of caring for God's poorest and most neglected in many parts, of the world. Missionhurst-CICM missionaries are prepared to stay, live among the people, share in their privation, and participate in the day-to-day effort needed to achieve life-long spiritual and material changes.

WHAT WE DO:

Bringing the Gospel Promises to Life for Vulnerable Children

Given the plight of the children in our missions around the world, we have chosen specific ministries featured herein which focus on the basic needs of food, education, and healthcare for children. Missionhurst believes that this initiative offers you an opportunity to commit to where you specifically want to help with your donation. We truly believe there is no gift too small when it comes to the support and protection of God's children.
