There has been a severe financial and health crisis due to COVID-19. Job opportunities are slowly dying out in the rural areas, leading their conditions from bad to worse. It is sad to note that children have lost their parents to COVID-19 and others have succumbed to serious COVID-related diseases.

We also see young girls have the courage and passion to pursue higher education but do not have the material support to do so. The Archdiocese has started a higher education institution (Christ College of Arts and Science, Kilachery, Tamil Nadu, India) in this remote rural part of the state. It has been serving these young boys and girls since 2008.

We have been able to do this noble service with the support of people of goodwill like you.  Good Education is one of the major setbacks in the rural areas.  We humbly request you to extend your loving arms to embrace these socially abandoned children who await your care.
